Dispatch System
We know that leaving your pets at home can be a little scary at first, especially if you’ve never used a pet sitter before. Your pets are important members of your family, and we take great pride in our 100% service record.
The safety and well-being of your furry family members is our primary concern and our contingency plans have several redundancy elements built-in which ensure your pets will receive service, on time, every time.
How our dispatch system works:
- You make a reservation online or via the telephone.
- Our system matches you with the pet sitter who lives closest to you and has the availability you are requesting. Because of this you will typically have the same sitter visit your home each time you use our service. In all cases you will get to meet your primary sitter before service begins.
- You receive email confirmation of the service dates you have selected.
- You will receive a phone call from us before service begins to confirm that you are still scheduled.
- When you service begins, your sitter will receive their schedule via our online scheduling system.
- When your pet sitter provides service to your home they are required to contact our dispatch system at the beginning and end of their visits so we have a record of the times that your home was visited.
- If your pet sitter is late or forgets to check in with the dispatch system, your sitter will automatically receive phone calls, emails and text messages until they are contacted.
- If we are unable to contact your sitter, one of our back up sitters who is familiar with your home will be dispatched to provide service.
