We are a company that was born out of necessity. After a visit to a kennel, our dogs were sick for over a week and had to take medications. Their illness cost more than the 2 days of kennel fees - not to mention the constant worry over our animals. It wasn't the kennel's fault our dogs got sick - it just goes with the territory. They were around many other dogs and simply caught an illness from a contagious pet. Don't get me wrong - we don't hate kennels - we just wanted to provide an alternative.

Afterwards we felt as if we were tied to the house because it was too much of an imposition to ask family and friends to care for our pets while we were out of town. We knew there had to be a better way. So we rallied some of our closest family and friends and Away Home & Pet Care was born. 

We investigated the possibility of starting a pet sitting business and the more we thought about it, the more we wanted to provide a pet care business that incorporates the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.  We've succeeded in this goal and we're confident you'll find this to be true. Caring for your beloved pets is an awesome responsibility that we don't take lightly.
